Cruising in style
A Moorings 39.1 is a delight to sail with a roller-furling genoa, and lazy jacks and a lazy-bag sail cover for the mainsail. All sail control lines are led aft for safety and convenience. Anchoring is easy with the electric windlass, which even has a handheld remote. Dual steering wheels give great visibility from the helm and there’s a full electronics package, including a color chartplotter and autopilot. The cockpit is fitted with a drop leaf table and a hinged door to access the swim platform. There is also a bimini, stereo speakers, and an exterior shower in the cockpit area.
The layout below features a U-shaped saloon and full-size chart table to starboard and a practical galley to port with plenty of work and storage space. Generous headroom creates a roomy and airy interior. There are three double cabins, one forward and two aft. Each has a dressing area and hanging locker. The saloon table can convert to another double bed. The single large head with shower is just aft of the galley. Opening ports and hatches fitted with blinds and screens provide plenty of ventilation. Fans are positioned throughout the yacht.
