Cruising in style
A Moorings 403 brilliantly combines comfortable accommodations with excellent performance under sail. Above decks the clear, ergonomically designed layout is equipped with ample handrails and wide side decks. The yacht has a roller-furling genoa, self-stacking mainsail with lazy jacks and integral sail cover, and an electric windlass. All sail control lines are led aft to the cockpit for safety and convenience. An electric windlass is a labor-saver when dropping or retrieving the anchor, and there’s even a handheld remote. The cockpit has a table with built-in drink holders and icebox, and a bimini to provide shade. There is a full electronics package, including a color chartplotter and autopilot.
The interior is spacious, with the U-shaped dining area to port. The table drops to convert to a double bed. A fore-and-aft galley to starboard is equipped with all features. Forward is a large private cabin with a head and shower. There’s plenty of storage as well as a hanging locker. Aft of the galley is another large head with shower. Farthest aft are two additional double staterooms. Each cabin has opening ports or hatches, fans, and shore power air-conditioning (not available in the Mediterranean). The yacht has a stereo/CD player.
