Moorings 44.3

Show full charter fleet

The Moorings 44.3 is a blue water design by Berret-Racoupeau focusing on functionality and open-air living. She features a modern fractional rig with powerful mainsail and short overlapping jib, making her quick to tack and easy on the crew. All sail controls are led to the cockpit where there is a full set of navigation electronics include color chartplotter, autopilot, sailing instruments. With twin steering wheels for excellent visibility from the helm, she can be safely sailed by a small crew. At the end of the sail, furling genoa, lazy jacks and lazy bag for the mainsail and an electric windlass speed the transition from sailing to pure relaxing. The cockpit is great for both with a bimini and dodger for protection and lots of room to lounge. The dual helms provide easy access to the swim platform and deck shower.

Inside the Moorings 44.3 has a very sensible layout with room for eight at the salon table and a galley easily accessed by two people with plenty of countertop. There is a separate chart table area and storage abounds throughout. Opening ports and hatches plus fans keep the interior bright and airy and night time lighting options are numerous. Three double cabins are each fitted with a hanging locker, shelves, lockers, reading lights, fans and opening ports and hatches with blinds and screens. Each cabin has an en-suite head with shower and the aft port head has a secondary access from the common area.
