Cruising in style
A Moorings 474 features a roller-furling genoa and a self-stacking mainsail for ease of handling. All sail control lines are led aft to the cockpit for safety and convenience, and the dual helm stations provide superb visibility. The yacht is equipped with a full electronics package that includes a color chartplotter and autopilot. The cockpit is fitted with a bimini and a large table with drink holders, and aft is a swim platform and shower. Anchoring is easy with the electric windlass.
Below-deck accommodations include a luxurious U-shaped saloon with a dining table that seats eight and can be converted to a double berth. There’s also a stereo/CD player. Just aft is a chart table, and to port is a fore-and-aft galley with every possible amenity. Forward are two luxurious double staterooms, and farthest aft adjacent to the companionway are two additional double cabins. Two heads with showers port and starboard are accessed via the main cabin. All staterooms have dressing areas, hanging lockers, and ample storage space. Throughout the yacht are opening ports and hatches, as well as fans. Shore power air-conditioning is delightful in the tropics (not available in the Mediterranean).
Exclusive yachts are the newest in the fleet with most less than 2 years old.
Club yachts are generally only three to five years old and very well maintained.
