Our Power Cats

We have built an exclusive partnership with one of the finest yacht builders in the world, Robertson and Caine.

Their new power catamarans were specifically design for The Moorings following our specifications. We aim that every Moorings Power Cat is designed for comfort, efficiency, and maximum enjoyment.

In order to meet our strict yacht guidelines the standard equipment on all of our yachts is upgraded and includes the following:

• Electronics packages
• Efficient hull design and engines
• Extra water and fuel capacities
• Stereo with CD player
• Air conditioning and generator standard on all power cats
• TV/ DVD player and microwave on many models

Why a Powercat?

The space and privacy of a Moorings Power Catamaran design is one of its most popular attributes. They offer space comparable to that of a much larger monohull and the twin hull platform makes them more comfortable at anchor and safer at sea. The efficiency of the twin hulls dramatically reduces the fuel consumption and the standard fuel capacity allows outstanding range. 

The beam of the Moorings catamaran and the absence of ballast in the keels dramatically reduces rolling at anchor or at the dock. At sea, the design of the catamaran is more stable and allows tremendous range at cruising speed.

Every moorings power catamaran is delivered on her own bottom from the factory in Cape Town, South Africa to bases all over the world.  A true testament to the efficiency, saftey, and comfort of these exceptional powercats.
