What do you call a week-long event that welcomes both sailors and non-sailors from around the world, who travel throughout a chain of emerald isles aboard a fleet of luxurious charter yachts; an event where each day competitors race windsurfers on a different course, and each night they party at a different waterside resort?
There is only one such event, and its called the Highland Spring HIHO.
Based in the British Virgin Islands, HIHO, short for "Hook In and Hold On" was first conceived in 1979, and celebrated its 25th anniversary in late June, drawing 140 participants from 14 countries. Click below to read more.
