Overview - Give us a snapshot of your time with The Moorings?
Stand-in Captain and crew Roy and Jane were excellent and knowlegable. Very different than our first 62 ft charter. After many years of monhull sailing and deliveries from back in the late 80's, I have started to turn my family and friends on to the Virgins. This is our third big boat trip, after many smaller bareboat trips. We actually got a chance to see more of the Islanfds than we had before. Roy was definately a charm to be with and knew everyone, including the folks we have known for years. He knew of all the new place to go and even took us to the small escape on peter Island and introduced us to it"legendary caretaker". He actually took us to five place on Islands that ewe had never been before in twenty visits. Great to see that the mooring is expanding, I took so valuble gear to the boys at the airport, courtesy of our fire department back home. They seem very shy, and I informed them that we could outfit them all for free if they would only contact me. As usual everyone at the moorings were very happy and helpful.

Highlights - What were the most memorable experiences of your vacation and where on your itinerary did they happen?
Visit to Peter Island and mmeeting the old caretaker who lives there. Great weather

Tips - Do you have any advice for fellow Moorings guests visiting this destination?
We thought we knew it all, but every crew has a different view of the islands. Study your guides to add to the flavor

Yachts - What features of your yacht did you like the best?
After years of sailing and barebaoating on mono hulls, the cats are unbelievable, and I would never get my wife on anything else.

Crew - What did you think of your captain and chef?
Roy and Jane are the best fill-ins you could ever get at your facilitiy

Is there anything else you would like to share?
After our first visit, being a bunch of wild old sailors, we kind of upset our crew. However not to end a great sailing career, we opted back and got another great crew with roy and jane. Trying very hard right now to get back in april 2010, ( a sailing accident in panama has thrown a wrench into that trip, but we are still trying.)
