Overview - Give us a snapshot of your time with The Moorings?
A celebration of my husband's 50th birthday with our 25 year old son and 24 year old daughter. We own a 35 foot Formula cruiser, but the Power Cat was an unbelievable experience! So easy to pilot, it provided us the opportunity to cruise when, where and how we wanted to. Even though we had rain for 3 days of the week, it provided our family a special opportunity to spend quality time together doing something we all love!

Highlights - What were the most memorable experiences of your vacation and where on your itinerary did they happen?
Climbing the lighthouse at Hopetown, then playing Jacks (bingo) at the restaurant. Sunday afternoon by the pool at Nippers. Cruising over the clear waters and seeing starfish below.

Tips - Do you have any advice for fellow Moorings guests visiting this destination?
We loved the locals! And instead of buying all provisions before departing, we would advise going to local markets in ports for fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, etc. Due to weather, we didn't make it through Whale Cay to Green Turtle Cay, but we'd like to if we ever get a chance to repeat this experience!

Separate staterooms

Is there anything else you would like to share?
We felt our first cruise was a "learning experience". We'd love to cruise the Abacos again.....if this economy ever allows!!
