The Laurel Lee team, can’t wait to welcome you to the BVIs
Captain Immy started working for The moorings & Sunsail in 2016. She has sailed in Croatia, Greece, Mallorca, BVI and other Caribbean islands, With experience running flotillas, teaching with the sailing school, being a charter captain and crewed yacht captain.
In her time off charter she loves scuba diving, dinghy sailing and surfing, so is always keen for water-sports and sharing her favourite snorkel stops with you. She likes to keep active and explore new places so is always happy to help you get the most out of your trip by plaining a route around your interests.
Kay, the “mojito lady” was the name given to her when she started as a stewardess in 2015. After successfully serving in her role, she went and got certified at the Ashburton Chefs Academy in 2017. After her certification, she came back and got promoted to the chef position at Laurel Lee.
In 2018, the Laurel Lee crew went to the BVI yacht boat showing Nanny Cay, where she entered the culinary competition and won Best Dessert, Best Appetizer, and Overall Best Dish. Chef Kay has a natural taste for flavors and likes to make her food from scratch. She takes great pleasure in serving in the area of a chef.
For your special occasions don’t worry she’s got you covered with her boat-made treats. Chef Kay caters to everyone no matter the dietary restriction so if you are Vegan, Vegetarian, Pescatarian, Gluten-free, or Celiac you name it. Chef Kay is here to make your sailing vacation a lasting memory.
Sebo has been fascinated by the sea world from a tender age and took pleasure in sea activities such as snorkelling, diving, and traversing the ocean on fishing and pleasure trips. Sebo is a great swimmer and loves to accompany the guests snorkelling under the instruction of the captain.
Being employed by the moorings allowed him the privilege to develop skills in the making of cocktails such as rum punch, dark and stormy, margarita, and many natural juices, and for those who are alcohol-free, he has his favourite mock-tails. He takes pleasure in serving and keeping the guests entertained, as well as helping the rest of the new make sure your time aboard in enjoyable and stress free.
*If unforeseen circumstances prevent this crew from hosting your charter, another competent crew will substitute. *A Moorings 5800 will be crewed by a professional captain and gourmet chef. For charters with more than 8 guests, an additional steward/ess may be provided however this is subject to availability.
