Level 2 Qualified Power Skipper

From the experience you have shared with us, you are able to captain any of our Moorings Power Yachts (within 10 feet of the largest yacht you have previously skippered and stated in your resume) in any of our level 1 & 2 destinations.

As you will see from the below table, the skipper of the yacht will be required to show proof of qualifications in select destinations such as: Greece, Croatia, and Italy. This must be the original copy of your qualification. Learn more here.

Wind: 5-20 knots	Wind: 10-20 knots
At least 5 days or 100 miles as skipper on an equivalent size yacht Level 1 destinations offer the easiest, most forgiving sailing, ideal for novices and less experienced sailors. Lazy line mooring, line-of-sight navigation and calm conditions mean you won’t sail outside your comfort zone.	At least 10 days or 200 miles as skipper on an equivalent size yacht Our intermediate sailing destinations, Level 2 sailing areas offer a greater challenge for sailors more comfortable on the open water. Enjoy strong winds and longer spells of open water sailing, suitable for more experienced skippers.

Moorings: In the Mediterranean, you will be predominantly anchoring. Protected anchorages, Mediterranean-style anchoring mooring, and/or marina slips.
