We had no idea that the Split are was so popular for sailing. Now we know why.
On Fridays and Saturdays the crew will be sending out 50-80 boats. Yuri and Mirna did our boat a solid. Great to work with and gave personal service despite being being worked hard by countless other boats. -
An absolutely wonderful sailing experience exploring the Northern Dalmatian Islands and the communities along the way. The briefing was great beforehand and was grateful for some extra time as we were heading north and it was as common an itinerary. Boat was well appointed and the water maker allowed us to be on the hook the entire time. If I had one request, that would be for more time to be instructed on the boat systems etc. it’s a lot to cover and remember, but we had several days to learn about her. Well supported by the Moorings team and that includes a lovely welcome back to Port.

Awesome, spetacular, outstanding, fabulous food, comfortable, adventurous, highly recommend!!!
We had 4 couples on a 50’ catamaren, which was plenty of room. Cabins are small but very comfortable. Hot water in showers and plenty of space to unpack your clothes. Lots of room to sit while sailing either on top, front or back.
We toured the islands around Split for 7 days. We had a fabulous captain, Deni and equally fabulous chef, Alex. They both tried very hard to ensure that our experience was fabulous.
We docked or moored every night in a semi private area and had time to swim and/or explored towns.
We enjoyed dinner off the boat 2 of the nights
At lunch stops we had time for swimming, paddle boarding or jumping from the boat.
When stopping in towns Deni arranged taxis for us as needed and made sure that we had a ride back to the boat.
There was enough wind on a couple of days to raise the sails which was fun.
The Moorings provided supplies in the bathroom, plenty of towels and comfortable beds and pillows.
I would go again in a heartbeat.

Our Croatian sailing adventure with The Moorings was flawless. From the outset, The Moorings staff made every detail easy. The online details were simple, accurate, very thorough and the entire process was very efficient. They handled all of the details, down to helping arrange transportation to and from the marina. This all made first time sailing a breeze. Our 50′ catamaran was quite comfortable and completely stocked. Our captain, Deni, was the best. He planned and executed a perfect itinerary. His morning briefings started each day. But can I rave a bit about our chef, Aleks? She prepared and served the most delicious meals each day and was such a pleasure to be around. I can not recommend The Moorings in Croatia highly enough – especially if you are lucky enough to have Deni and Aleks as your crew.

Our power catamaran was in excellent condition when we arrived for our seven day cruise. ALL systems were in good working order, the vessel was clean and our provisions were stocked and properly stored.
The most outstanding part of our experience was the two orientations we received: first a lengthy and comprehensive navigational orientation, then an even longer and thorough vessel systems and operational orientation. Both were excellent and perhaps the most thorough I have ever received.
We had to contact Moorings base on only one occasion and the phone was answered immediately and our issue (our error) was resolved right away.
All in all, a fantastic bareboat charted experience.
Kudos to Moorings, Marsh Harbour, Bahamas -
Our trip was amazing from start to end. Our skipper George was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable about all the local islands. We had an option to go to the Cyclades but after the first day, we decided we wanted more time to snorkel, kayak and paddleboard, so we stayed closer to the mainland. Each port was beautiful! Food was incredible – We did our own shopping and ate breakfast and lunch on the boat, then ate dinner out most nights. The only thing we would’ve changed was to have a generator on board. We had to spend a couple of nights without air-conditioning. That was pretty brutal in July!

We enjoyed a fabulous week of relaxation aboard Georges VII. Great stops for lunches and swimming, exploring and even cliff jumping. Our captain, Lefteris and crew/chef Anna made sure we visited interesting and beautiful places. Our Meals were fabulous. We went to wonderful anchorages. Would do it all over in a heartbeat!
Hope to charter in Greece again and would ask for Lefteris and Anna. -
Without doubt the best holiday experience year after year. We never tire of sailing the Aegean with Moorings. This trip was slightly different as we had a last minute boat alteration, the their largest Catamaran in their Athens Fleet. But my cousin Steve was not daunted by the challenge of looking after us for the week as we were well briefed by engineer Elias and Captain Lefteris prior to leaving Pereaus port. Nothing was left to chance and the boat was beautifully prepared for us in advance.
We can’t thank the Athens Moorings team enough for making our trip the best one yet. Greece is unbeatable and the islands of Poros, Spetses, Moni, Hydra and Aegina did not disappoint. Simply too long to wait before we are back for another adventure.

Boat was in good condition. Moorings staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Our cook was great. I captained the boat myself. We really had a nice time. I think the Abacos guide on the Moorings website could have been more detailed. It was harder to create an itinerary in the Abacos compared to Exumas and BVI as there seems to be less information online for cruisers compared to those other areas.

The Moorings has delivered once again on a overall great trip. Staff is so courteous and nice. They had everything ready to go and made getting checked in a breeze.
Check out, just as easy.
Can’t wait to return! -
We spent a fantastic week on the 45′ Bagheera with our 18 and 22 year old boys and Captain Edy and Chef Ana. We had never done a boating trip before so weren’t sure what to expect. Couldn’t have been better. Great mix of activities, downtime, and socializing. Weather was perfect and waters were calm with the exception of one afternoon.
Edy mapped out two stops a day for us with overnights in private, secluded coves most nights although we did stay in Stari Grad and Vis harbors two nights. He also recommended tours and restaurants and arranged for water and land taxis. And Ana managed to prepare an incredible spread of fresh and diverse meals for us over the week. Both of them were super attentive and flexible, allowing us our space but also joining us for conversations while we played games as a family. Croatia’s water, sites, culture and food and drink were even better then I expected. We would love to go back!

My first experience of a Moorings crewed yacht trip and I fully recommend it. We sailed on the Clem Calije with captain Deni and chef Aleks who were just the best. The boat was in tip top condition and very comfortable. We love Croatia and got the chance to visit lots of new beautiful places with Stari Grad, Hvar Town, Viz Town and Milna being stand out. Organisation and communication was good from the outset and it was clear that our food and drink preferences had been read beforehand. The food was fresh and expertly prepared by Aleks. Overall an unforgettable trip.

Just back from an amazing week trip on the Clem Caliji crewed yacht from The Moorings, Agana, Croatia. The base was busy when we arrived as it was the main turnaround day and time but the check-in was done very quickly, reception staff were friendly and helpful, facilities are good including the dedicated reception area with refreshments. We were greeted by our captain Deni and chef Aleksandra and shown around our home for the week. The yacht was spotless, comfortable and spacious. Deni and Alex’s are a great partnership and made our trip perfect. They could not do enough for us but managed that in such a friendly, professional and unobtrusive way. We had some amazing meals prepared by the lovely Aleks cleverly adjusted to meet dietary requests of some family members. Deni came up with a superb sailing route based on places we wanted to see, had the kayak and paddle boards out daily and made taxi and dinner reservations for us. They really are a great team. Croatia and particularly Dalmatia is so beautiful and this is a fantastic way to see it.

We chose to stay at island marinas for convenience and amenities as there were eight of us on our Moorings Powercat. This worked our great for us. We did take time some days to anchor in coves or have spectacular lunch and use their mooring while we played in the water and used the dingy for getting around.
We visited Milna, Vis, Korcula Old Town and Vela Luka, Brac and marina Palminazana. From Palmizana Marina we took a short water taxi to Hvar.Palmizana Marina had laundry facilities which worked out great for us. We stayed there an extra night for more relaxing time.
Highly recommend restaurant Navigare Restaurant at ACI Marina on Milna. We had Dragan as our waiter and he was fabulous!
So much history to explore and wonderful food available at every island! This was first time our family did this type of vacation and we really loved the experience. Our friends joined and brought along skills to Skipper our boat, along with myself. Having two deck hands in our son-in-laws was also helpful.
Highly recommend this experience if you love the water. Adriatic Sea truly is as blue and clear as everyone says. You will not be disappointed.
Moorings staff provided great pre and post support to answer our many questions always in a friendly manner. Moorings was recommended to us by friends who used their rentals at British Virgin Islands (BVIs) and we have been very pleased with their process and the 434 PC we rented.

We had a sailing cat with a captain and cook. We had 4 couples and the boat is great. This is probably our 5th trip with Moorings and they are a reputable and reliable company. The captain accessed our needs when we arrived and we chose a different sailing/motoring plan and we are so happy we did so. We loved the little islands with so much history and charm. We rented motor cycles on almost all the islands and had a blast. Some of those little street are quite tight. I don’t think that there is anything we would change. We were the first trip out for the year and the weather was cooler …. 72 – 79 degrees. What was nice was we did not use the air conditioner at night which was a first for us.
Great way to relax and be pampered. We loved seeing the country without cruise ships and tons of tourists. We went to the islands south of Athens after we left our boat. They were beautiful but it sure was a different experience. One island had 5 cruise ships in the harbor a day. It was insane.

We just finished a week-long charter with Aleks and Deni on Clem Calije, the Mooring’s 50-foot sailing catamaran in Croatia. We were two families, 4 adults and 3 young adults. The trip far exceeded our expectations! Captain Deni and Chef Aleks are a great team.
Deni had an itinerary in mind but once he got to know our interests and adventure levels, he adjusted it real-time to always keep us entertained. He enjoyed explaining some of the more technical aspects of the sailing catamaran and boating customs in the area. He even let us help when we wanted to!
Rockstar Chef Aleks was amazing! She always had food and drinks available for us. She also adjusted to our adventure levels – trying many new dishes on us (which were all fantastic)! At home, my daughter even attempted to replicate one of her desserts! Aleks was always busy preparing our next meal but found some time to befriend the kids. Both her and Deni had a great sense of humor and would laugh and join in conversation with us!
The boat was very roomy for our 7 guests + crew. It was very well maintained and cared for. They had 2 SUPs and a sea kayak which Deni was quick to put in and take out as often as we wanted. The Agana base was very friendly and accommodating and had a waiting area for us, complete with drinks. The base was very responsive to my many questions.
I would highly recommend joining them on a Croatian adventure. We went in late May when the crowds were light and the weather was pleasant. The water was just warm enough to swim in.

Excellent sailing in Paradise!
Base staff, marina and facilities are top-notch. They cater to your every request. Our boat was in pristine shape and our captain very helpful and full of local knowledge of all the best, hidden gems of the islands.
Definitely beautiful cruising grounds and the people, culture and good were by far the best in The Med. -
Moorings never fails to meet our expectations. The staff was courteous, quick to help and the one time we had problems with equipment while sailing
(Which we actually caused) they sent out a team promptly and fixed the problem. From booking thru leaving the yacht they took care of us. And I believe this was trip number 12 for us. -
Fantastic. Boat was great with the exception of watermaker, which gave us some trouble. But, the staff was really outstanding. They went above and beyond to support and assist.

Antigua is amazing. The Moorings base in English Harbour is in one of the most spectacularly beautiful locations anywhere. The Moorings staff were exceptionally helpful, especially Britiney and Jerome. Our boat was a 3-cabin, 40-foot (39+ ft) Leopard catamaran that was approximately 4 years old. It had been chartered many times, judging by the hours on the engines, but it was , for the most part, still in excellent condition and handled very well on our sail to Guadeloupe and Les Saintes. Boating is synonymous with small mishaps or questions of one kind or another, but we managed them with little trouble and a few phone calls back to the base. Cell coverage was surprisingly good everywhere we went, including the open water between Antigua and Guadeloupe. One tip: if you don’t have to, avoid traveling to another country on your charter: we spent many extra dollars and a great deal of lost time clearing out and in and out and in again. The process is slow and your crew must stay locked up on the boat while the captain goes ashore to do the paperwork. And sometimes the customs and immigration officials are very busy and have limited hours. The weather was superb. Good winds, plenty of sunshine, and temperatures between the low to mid seventies at night and the mid eighties during the day. Snorkeling at Pigeon Island in Guadeloupe is a unique experience. It’s like swimming in a tropical-fish aquarium. Amazing. Bring plenty of sunscreen—the kind that is reef- and coral friendly is a must. Highly recommended.
