Placencia Harbour to Pelican Cayes
Cruise south from Placencia into the spectacular Pelican Cayes, a protected group of mangrove islands and coral reefs known for crystal-clear waters, secluded anchorages, and incredible marine life. This peaceful first stop offers excellent snorkeling, paddleboarding, and kayaking through calm turquoise lagoons surrounded by untouched natural beauty.

Glovers Reef - northern area
A scenic sail from the southern Glover’s Reef area takes you into the northern reaches of this spectacular oval-shaped atoll, one of Belize’s most pristine marine environments. The reef rises dramatically from deep blue water, forming a natural barrier around a lagoon filled with scattered coral heads and vibrant patch reefs. This area is ideal for a relaxed lunch stop, swimming, and snorkelling before continuing south toward the Ray Caye region for the evening.

Day 5
Ray Caye
A relaxed sail from the Glover’s Reef region brings you back inside Belize’s barrier reef system, heading toward the protected southern cayes and the beautiful Ray Caye. Along the way, conditions permitting, you may stop in the Queen Cays area for a swim with turtles and nurse sharks and enjoy snorkelling around the pristine coral gardens of this marine reserve. Continue westward to Ray Caye, a private island resort offering a comfortable and well-equipped overnight stop with excellent access to reef and relaxation.

Day 6
Lark Caye
A short and comfortable sail brings you from Ray Caye toward the tranquil waters surrounding Lark Caye, a peaceful anchorage close to Placencia and the inner barrier reef. This final island stop offers calm, shallow waters ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, and relaxed cruising as you begin your journey back toward base. The surrounding reef system continues to offer excellent snorkelling opportunities with vibrant coral and abundant marine life.

Depending on timing and weather, this area may also serve as a convenient staging point for an early return to base the following morning, bringing the charter full circle through Belize’s stunning southern reef system.
Day 7
Placencia Harbour
Return to Placencia Harbour, a charming coastal village set along a narrow peninsula between the Caribbean Sea and the Placencia Lagoon. The approach offers scenic views of palm-lined beaches, colourful waterfront homes on stilts, and the relaxed rhythm of village life. This is the final stop of your charter, where you disembark after a memorable journey through Belize’s southern cayes and atolls.
