Best trip ever! Very knowledgeable Captain who was fun too. The chef was great and her food was fabulous! Took us to some places we would never have known about through the guide books.

One week crewed charter on a Moorings 5000 catamaran is a magnificent experience. The Dalmation coast is a wonder of beauty and history, part of the cradle of western civilization. Each island has hundreds of coves to explore. Each village has its own wines and olive oils, which have been growing for centuries and are not available in your grocery store at home. Castles, villas, Greek ruins, Roman ruins and hiking trails abound. Crystal clear water and breezy sailing afternoons make for a fascinating and enjoyable trip. The captain and chef were amazing. Just do it!

From the time we arrived in Agana we felt welcomed and taken care of. Our captain Dino and hostess Edita came over to introduce themselves and from that point on, for the next 7 days, we a wonderful time.
They had planned out a route they thought we would enjoy with the appropriate amount of time sailing, motoring, at anchor and in port. Our week on board was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed every day.
We had provisioned for the first few days based on Edita’s input and the remainder of the time she took care of finding fresh fruits and vegetables and meats and fish in each port. She was an amazing cook and wonderful to be around. Dino was great, he kept us informed of each day’s plan, arranged a tour he knew we would enjoy, he was efficient, knowledgeable, professional and fun to be around.
The 45′ catamaran was clean, well equipped, comfortable and roomy. There was plenty of space to meet as group and still have room to find a quiet spot to enjoy a book.
All in all a great experience and I HIGHLY recommend the Moorings and their excellent staff.

We chose to stay at island marinas for convenience and amenities as there were eight of us on our Moorings Powercat. This worked our great for us. We did take time some days to anchor in coves or have spectacular lunch and use their mooring while we played in the water and used the dingy for getting around.
We visited Milna, Vis, Korcula Old Town and Vela Luka, Brac and marina Palminazana. From Palmizana Marina we took a short water taxi to Hvar.

Palmizana Marina had laundry facilities which worked out great for us. We stayed there an extra night for more relaxing time.

Highly recommend restaurant Navigare Restaurant at ACI Marina on Milna. We had Dragan as our waiter and he was fabulous!

So much history to explore and wonderful food available at every island! This was first time our family did this type of vacation and we really loved the experience. Our friends joined and brought along skills to Skipper our boat, along with myself. Having two deck hands in our son-in-laws was also helpful.

Highly recommend this experience if you love the water. Adriatic Sea truly is as blue and clear as everyone says. You will not be disappointed.

Moorings staff provided great pre and post support to answer our many questions always in a friendly manner. Moorings was recommended to us by friends who used their rentals at British Virgin Islands (BVIs) and we have been very pleased with their process and the 434 PC we rented.
