Moorings are available. There is no room to anchor in the yacht basin of Hamilton Island Marina, which should never be necessary anyway as the company offers a guaranteed marina berth for the duration of your charter.
When powerboating in Hamilton Island waters the possibilities for recreational activities are seemingly limitless. Watersports of all kinds are available, including sea kayaking, Windsurfing, and water skiing. Guided reef tours, organized scuba diving excursions, and captained fishing charters operate out of Hamilton Island, as do aviation companies offering sightseeing flights over the reef in helicopters and seaplanes. You can also hire a seaplane to meet you at your Powercat in a secluded anchorage, take a flight to explore the outer reef, and then return to your yacht for a sumptuous dinner as the sun sinks low on the horizon! Fine dining, shopping, scenic footpaths, and horse-and-buggy rides on picturesque lanes and trails are among the delights of a Hamilton Island powerboat charter.
