Everything was perfect! From the boat to the food and especially Romano and Silvia! They could not have been more accommodating and enjoyable. Planned the perfect week for our family!

Silvia and Romano were the absolute best! Silvia’s food was amazing. Romano made she we had fun every day. They knew the best spots to anchor and chill for the day. Most boats stay in really busy coves. Romano knew all the quite little bays that were so relaxing and quiet. By the end of the week Silvia and Romano were like family. It was sad to say goodbye bye.

Andy and Linzi created an environment of adventure, rest and reconnection for our family of 6 with kids ranging in age from 12-19. Each day we were captivated by the natural beauty surrounding us with a variety of locations among the islands along with water fun, snorkeling, and a little land exploration time as well. Linzi created culinary delights that took in all the senses and a sense of hospitality that allowed us space to connect as family.
Andy and Linzi are both fun and highly skilled; I’ve already recommended them to several friends.

We sailed on Seas the Day in April with a group of friends celebrating our 60th birthdays. We loved it so much that we took our family back for Christmas. Our second trip was just as wonderful and Andy and Linzi made our holiday so special. We were able to share all of our favorite adventures (including snorkeling and hiking) with our kids and Captain Andy took us to some new sites. You can make this trip as adventurous or as restful as you would like. Andy and Linzi are very accommodating and so much fun to be around. First and foremost, their top concern is the safety of all passengers. Everything is top notch – the boat, the sailing, the cleanliness, the well thought out itinerary and of course the beautiful water and scenery. Every meal that Chef Linzi served (and there were lots of them) was delicious. We all left with a few extra pounds. You will not regret spending your vacation on Seas the Day with Andy and Linzi. We’ll be back.

Our family just returned from an incredible one-week yacht experience in the British Virgin Islands with The Moorings, and it exceeded every expectation.
We opted for a captained charter and, honestly, Captain Kedon made the entire trip. We were a bit anxious at first about having a “stranger” on board with our family, but those worries disappeared almost immediately. Kedon was kind, knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. He took excellent care of us while also being genuinely fun to be around. What truly stood out was his ability to perfectly read the room—he knew exactly when to give us our space and when to join in the fun. That balance made the experience feel relaxed, comfortable, and personal from start to finish.
The boat itself was the perfect size for our family, in great condition, and very comfortable to live on for the week. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully set up, making onboard life easy and enjoyable.
The BVI islands are absolutely stunning, and each one offers something unique and special. Captain Kedon’s experience really shined here—he knew exactly where to go and when, guiding us to beautiful locations and finding us the perfect mooring spots, some private and some lively, depending on what we were in the mood for.
This trip was truly unforgettable, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with The Moorings again—especially if we can request Captain Kedon. Highly, highly recommend.

This was the adventure of a lifetime for our family. Yachting, Snorkeling, my 5yr old and 7 yr old jumped from Wiily T’s. Amazing.

My family had an amazing time on a Moorings charter in BVI with our experienced crew (Captain Garth and Christine)! This was an adventure for us and my 80+ year old parents and we felt safe and looked after while at the same time, having a wonderful vacation. Garth and Christine’s mapped out our voyage and they happily provided details about what to expect and level of difficulty, etc. Super helpful when traveling with an age-range of passenger from 16 to 82! We enjoyed the sailing, snorkeling, swimming, eating, drinking, relaxing, etc. etc. We made great memories on this trip with lots and lots of laughs and topped off Carib!

Perfection from reservation to checkout! Moorings 4200 was the perfect island hopper for our family of four. Plenty of fridge/freezer space and all the kitchen and grill tools to make this a true floating condo.

We have done cruises before, but this Moorings Charter was exceptionally the best. Everything was much better than we anticipated. The whole process from check in to check out was seamless. The Catamaran was spotless with spacious accommodation and the crew was fantastic. We selected the crew, “Wasted Seamen” because of the Italian and Slovenian ethnic combination of Captain Francesco Franzese and Chef Nika Oman. Our group consisted of Italians, Indians, Finnish and Irish so we wanted nontraditional meals. Captain Francesco Franzese was very professional and knowledgeable. Even though we encountered some rough seas no one got seasick. The spots he moored were awesome sceneries and we made some fun family memories. Chef Nika Oman worked her magic. Every meal was delicious. At one she thought she was not providing enough food because we were cleaning our plates. We had to convince her it had nothing to do with the quantity, but the food was so tasty that leftovers were not an option. This was our first family trip together and it was the most enjoyable and memorable time we spent together. Thank you, Captain Francesco Franzese and Chef Nika Oman, you are the best.

We did a week long cruise with one other couple and our captain Rico. With this being everyone’s first time doing a moorings charter, we figured it would be best to trust someone to show us the way. We were so fortunate to have Rico as our captain. He took the time to understand the group dynamics and lean what each person was trying to get out of the trip. His calm demeanor, local knowledge and experience allowed us to have a fantastic trip. From knowing the best spots to eat and snorkel, to last minute changes to match the vibe of the group. He even made sure we did proper provisioning to minimize waste at the end of the trip. I can honestly say, this trip will be remembered by all of us for a long time and a substantial reason for that how attentive Rico was to our goals. If you get a chance to charter with Rico, I highly suggest it.

PROFESSIONALISM -QUALITY OF FOOD AND BEVERAGES WAS THE BEST. Dockages and reservations to all the great spots was all perfect. Boat was immaculate at all times. NOT ONE GLITCH in a full week of moving about. Not only are they ultra professional they a fun and interesting storytellers. We had a great trip and will return by crewed charter only if we can be with Andy & Linzi.

This was our second bareback trip with The Moorings, and it was every bit as easy, accommodating, and smooth as the first one. We had some boat troubles this time that allowed us to experience The Moorings support team. They were timely, responsive, and didn’t impact our itinerary in anyway. Check in and check out were fast and efficient, provisioning was spot on, and the boat was amazing as advertised. We love The Moorings and will be back again soon!

This was the fourth Moorings trip for my husband and I. We continue to choose Mooring because of their experience and personal care to make sure of a good trip. Our scheduled captain had an unexpected illness, so thus, we were upgraded to a bigger boat and assigned new captain and cook, Romano and Silvia. Romano was very familiar with the entire sailing area and assisted with the scheduling of our desired island spots (loved his personalized video of our locations when we were finished).. He even prearranged reservations, such as a lobster dinner and Moke (car) experience on Anegada (or favorite island). He knew to get us to the Baths before the cruise ships. And, took us to his favorite spot (not telling…it was a gem) the last day. Silvia is an excellent cook and such a sweet person. We missed her when we returned home and had do our own three meals and also missed our specialized happy hour drinks. Prior to trip we had noted that our daughter was celebrating her 30th birthday. We were delighted that they had purchased balloons and decorations and allowed us to write birthday messages on the window. Lastly, we loved their Croatian spirit and loved listening about their homeland.
Would we pick Moorings again? Absolutely.

Moorings is always my first choice for a bareboat sailing charter. I have used many charter companies around the world, but the quality of service, support, and yachts puts Moorings at the top of the list. The staff at the base are always friendly and accommodating. Tech Support, whether by radio, phone, or in person always fixes whatever issue comes up. In the extreme, if there is a technical problem with a charter yacht that cannot be fixed promptly, Moorings has simply brought us another boat to complete our charter. No other company does that.

The Moorings has an excellent base in Tortola. The staff is courteous and helpful, the pool and bar was a great place to hangout while waiting for our catamaran to be ready, and the inspection and launching process went off without a hitch. The provisioning store and market are very well stocked and the restaurant was very good.

Great welcome on arrival and the talk through by Jerome (boat) and Sadiq (Nav) were very informative. Jerome quickly sorted out the issues we found with the 50’ Cat we were chartering, ably supported by Brittany in the office. Ours was a one way charter up to St Martin over 10 days. The only issue that couldn’t be resolved was that our booking stipulated Wi-Fi on board, as one of our party had to do some work, but this was not provided nor could a way be found to provide it which was disappointing (not the fault of the shore crew). The trip went smoothly without issue to St Martin where Pascal saw us smoothly through the final handover. All in all a great trip

We had a fantastic time on our week long Moorings charter with Romano and Silvia. They last minute picked up our reservation because our original captain had a sickness/ surgery come up. We’re grateful they didn’t cancel it, even if it was a quicker turnaround for them between each scheduled charters! They worked with us to curate our itinerary, menus (with someone who is paleo), and so much more. It seemed like there may have been a mix up with our preference sheets and what Moorings provided for them, but they stopped and picked up some of things we requested and didn’t originally get. Romano and Silvia recommended some great excursions off of the boat as well.

A trip of a lifetime! I had the pleasure of traveling alongside Captain Romano and chef Silvia on a 7 day trip through the BVIs. Captain made sure to plan an itinerary filled with both relaxation and adventure while showing us some amazing spots. Silvia’s food was exceptional each day. They made a great duo and went out of their way to also make me feel special on my birthday! We loved our daily happy hours and sunsets.

Great trip and the Moorings did everything they could to make the trip a huge success. When the dingy motor acted up, they were there within an hour with a new motor. They were very friendly and easy going and it made the trip that much better.

My family and I did this trip for Thanksgiving two years ago and had to come back this year for the same time! We booked with Seas the Day with Andy and Linzi, two years ago and did it again with them this year. They are an amazing crew doing everything they can to make the trip perfect. We will be back again and totally recommend this trip and this crew!!!!
