Tobago Cays

On Day 3, you’ll explore the five deserted isles of the Tobago Cays. Horseshoe Reef almost encircles the four main cays, and beyond its protective embrace is Petit Tabac. As one of the premier snorkeling and diving locations within the Grenadines, and the entire Windward chain, this is a great place to work some underwater magic into your St Lucia 7-day sailing itinerary.

Moorings are available for a fee. Charterers may anchor in one of several locations. The anchorages north and south of Baradel are popular. No dinghy docks are available, but you can beach your dinghy to take a swim on one of the cays.

  • Feasting at a beach barbecue.
  • Reclining for some stargazing from your power yacht’s flyover.

Spotlight: The waters of the Tobago Cays Marine Park are pristine – visibility is excellent (typically 100-120 feet) for viewing the sea life of the extensive reefs in the area. Make sure to contact the local dive companies if you want to go scuba diving, as diving on your own isn’t permitted. Learn more about the Best Diving in St Lucia.

(Note: Power yachts are allowed within the grounds as long as they’re travelling at under 5 knots.)
