COVID-19 Testing Centers in Belize
- Stann Creek Southern Regional Hospital (Contact: 501-522-3835). Please note the Stann Creek region includes Placencia, where a new test center has been established in the village near the public pier. Please anchor in Placencia Harbor and walk (about 300 yards) to the facility where the turnaround time will be around 4 hours, or you can return to the marina and the base will arrange a taxi to take you to the centre.
- Independence Polyclinic (Contact: 522-523-2167 or [email protected]).
- The base will assist you by making appointments for your rapid tests.
- If you test positive whilst on charter, you should check with your insurance provider for advice. You can quarantine on your yacht, or if this is no longer available, the base will assist in finding another quarantine facility for you.
