Welcome back to The Moorings marina in Martinique!
Please view Martinique latest travel requirements in response to COVID-19 below. The Moorings will continue to monitor these updates to keep our guests informed of any changes.
We would also advise that you contact your airline for the most up to date information around entry requirements and re-entry to your home country.
While Martinique is opening its borders for international travelers, certain Policies and Procedures will need to be followed when entering the country, before and during your stay there. Please bookmark this page as travel updates are frequently announced.
Before You Go
All travelers:
- All travelers must present a sworn statement that they are not showing symptoms and that they are not aware of having been in contact with a confirmed case of covid-19 in the fourteen days preceding the flight
- Submit your full guest list in advance of travel to us via the manage my booking link
- We recommend purchasing travel insurance coverage through our partner Redpoint Travel Insurance
- Over the age of 11 must undertake a test for COVID-19 within 72 hours before departure for Martinique. The test is obligatory, and the traveler must show proof of a negative result before embarking.
- Spend 7 days in isolation on arrival – the full 7 days can be done on your yacht
- Repeat the COVID-19 screening test (RT-PCR or antigen test) at the end of the isolation period
During Your Charter
- There is a curfew in place from 8pm to 5am. Sports practice for members of sports clubs and gyms, cultural, leisure and catering activities are allowed until 10pm.
- You must wear a mask inside shops and shopping centres.
- A restaurant and other food establishments approved by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Tourism may provide a dine-in service to persons who are fully vaccinated. There is no obligation to show vaccination pass for take away services.
- If you test positive during your charter, please get in touch with your insurance provider for advice. You can quarantine on board the yacht if it is not booked out for another charter. If the yacht is not available, the base will find another solution on site (another yacht or a hotel).
- We are dedicated to giving you peace of mind when you charter with us. Our industry-leading safety measures include the fogging and disinfecting of all yachts before each charter begins.
