Love to travel by boat and the crew was excellent!

Your attention to detail provided for a very smooth running vacation.

Boat was in excellent condition, staff on base was very helpful, booking and pre-departure checklist were very easy.

Our Captain, Anis was a pro!! He took us to all the great spots, plus a couple that we requested. We always felt our safety was his top priority.
Our Chef, Tery prepared three gourmet meals each day and took care of any requests we had.
Between the two of them, we literally wanted for nothing.
They are an incredible team and you are lucky to have them in your employment.
We will travel with you again and a lot of that is because of Tery and Anis’ care. They treated us like royalty and we will never forget this trip.

The staff at the Corfu office was just exceptional! Carina and her team were so helpful and sweet – couldn’t have asked for a better experience there. Our Captain – Uros – was just phenomenal! We enjoyed our trip so much more for having him as a Captain. He really did everything he could do to give us the experience we dreamed of … could not recommend him more!

The charter was excellent, the skipper and chef went overboard to please us, they took us to very nice places to anchor to swim, the food was great, overall exceeded our expectations. It was our first time in a catamaran and loved it

Everything went just as expected. Boat “Marta” was amazing with no issues.

The Croatian team was amazing. From the prebrief videos to the responsiveness to calls. Would like to visit again.

Wonderful vacation, exceptional Captain (Tony) who made our trip the very best. He called ahead to have restaurants open for us given that it was the off season and we felt like we had VIP service every where we went! Boat was very clean and comfortable.

Excellent service and team coordination, from beginning with Beth Slauson, to getting picked up at the airport, the extremely friendly team at the Tortola Base, to the ease of having the on-site Moorings Market, close by and shuttle accessible Rite-Way market, nice boat workers and seamless return to the airport.

The whole experience with The Moorings was excellent before and during the trip. We enjoyed the boat; it was so nice to have AC on it 🙂

Had an amazing family vacation with our adult children and significant others. This is our second Moorings trip to BVI. Both were spectacular. Our Calvin (captain), Katie (chef) and their boat (Jolly Mon) were exceptional. Highly recommend this trip and The Moorings.

We chose a 53’ power cat, sailing from Tortola, BVI, that was super luxurious. It was sparkling clean, in perfect condition, had great a/c, four very large state rooms, was very quiet even while underway and had a dingy. We decided to hire a captain and I think it’s the only way to go. He knew the best dive spots, where to stop for emergency rum (yes, it’s a thing!), he would take the dingy and keep an out when just one person wanted to dive (safe practice) and made dinner reservations for us at great beachfront restaurants. He was so fun we invited him to dinner most nights. Moorings marina in Tortola is incredible having a large pool, multiple grocery stores, gorgeous bar, lovely restaurant and attentive service throughout the entire operation. We had a service issue on the boat and a repair crew was provided quickly to remedy the problem. We would definitely use Moorings again.

We took a skippered catamaran trip with the Moorings in June and it was absolutely amazing. From booking to stepping foot on the boat, it was such a breeze. Diego at the front desk was phenomenal. He was so friendly and helpful!

I think the best part of the trip was our captain, Rudy. His professionalism, good energy and vibes made us feel immediately comfortable. Because of his knowledge of all the Belizean cayes we were able to visit some of the best snorkeling spots and unique islands. We even had the opportunity to swim with sharks and rays! Rudy was always there when we needed him but he also gave us space to enjoy the boat as a group. And he made us the best ceviche! 🙂

I thank the Moorings for an amazing and unbelizeable experience, and Rudy for going above and beyond to make the trip truly unforgettable. We will definitely be back.

The Moorings bareboat charter was amazing. Our trip through the Windward Islands was relaxing yet full of adventure. We started in St Lucia and ended in Grenada, our 9-day journey on our 46′ power catamaran was filled with snorkeling, hiking, and exploring. I highly recommend a Moorings charter, and they offer captains if you don’t want to do it yourself. They also have a ton of destinations.

We had the most unforgettable birthday trip for our friend in the BVI with Moorings! Our crew, Captain Romano and Chef Silvia, made the week absolutely perfect—Romano made every day seamless, from navigating the beautiful islands to planning the perfect spots for snorkeling, beach days, and sunset views. He made sure our itinerary balanced adventure and relaxation, and we always felt safe and well cared for, and Silvia’s meals were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! Sailing with 4 couples, endless laughs, and stunning views made this a trip of a lifetime!

My family and I have now sailed around the BVI through the Moorings 14 times over the past 30 years. The boats are great and handle well, and the staff is top notch. We plan on returning again in 2027.

Wow! I didn’t know what to expect from our 5 night trip but I couldn’t have imagined the paradise we experienced. Francesco and Nika are a dynamic team and made our trip unforgettable. From the delicious meals prepped on the boat to the nightly mooring locations and the snorkeling excursions – everything was first class. Each day it got better and better! Highly recommend!

Our week spent in BVI with our Captain (Romano) and Chef Silvia was amazing. Romano kept us safe and accommodated our needs and got along so well with our group.
Silvia worked so hard to make special meals for us, all delicious and beautifully presented at each sitting. They took such good care of the boat, as if it was their own home.
The islands were beautiful, the water was crystal clear, and the company was great!
Thank you Romano and Silvia for taking such good care of us and making our vacation so special! We hope to sail with you again!

We had the most amazing week on “Happy Endings” (5800) with Captain Dale & our cook, the angel of the Caribbean, Jan! The boat is beautiful and spacious. Our family of 4 sailed in early July…the weather was perfect and we enjoyed the low crowds. We did encounter some jelly fish and seaweed which kept us from being able to snorkel and/or enjoy some of the beaches, but there were plenty of other amazing spots to enjoy so it all worked out! The boat was so clean and in great condition, Jan made sure of that every day. Jan made us the most delicious meals and was always so thoughtful to ask what we liked and would prefer. She took the best care of us in so many ways and always kept our bathrooms and our rooms so clean. We just can’t say enough and we really hope to sail again with this crew and Moorings!

Anyone who has ever chartered a yacht knows that the crew can make or break your vacation Look no further if you’re trying to find the absolutely PERFECT crew…Dino and Anna are a choice you’ll remember forever. Promise…

Dino and Anna both have degrees in maritime studies. Dino also has a history degree. So, his knowledge was incredibly fascinating. Private guide/history teacher AND experienced Captain. Lucky us😊

These two enhanced our vacation in every possible way.

(Boat condition was exceptional)

We had the most shading week sailing with our skipper Patrik. He was so cool and knew the waters like the back of his hand. I’d love to come back again with more friends and family.

Cannot recommend the Moorings Belize enough. Profesional operations with well kept, top notch boats. Spent 7 days exploring the Cayes of Belize from Placencia with my wife and 3 boys. Fantastic adventure!

I took my niece on her dream vacation for her 28th birthday. This is the first time I’ve done anything like this, and I was a bit anxious about two women being on a boat in the middle of nowhere with a male captain I knew nothing about. (More on Moorings lack of communication later).

Enter Captain Radge!
As soon as he stepped on the boat – we sailed Cattyshack – I gave him a hug and said “We are family now!”
It turns out that I had NOTHING to worry about. Radge quickly became like family, and took such good care of us girls! He nicknamed me “Tia’ immediately – loved it!

Moorings, GIVE RADGE A RAISE!!!

We had the time of our lives!
The boat was wonderful. Perfectly comfortable for the 3 of us, and had everything we needed. We had a slight malfunction the second morning, but we were close enough to Placencia, and Moorings honored their 4-hour guarantee by sending out two guys to fix it and get us on our way. The rest of the trip could not have been more perfect.

Radge is not only a top-notch captain, but he could easily be a professional chef! He cooked for us on the nights we didn’t go out to eat on some island somewhere. We honestly thought we would – and were happy to – be eating PBJ, tuna sandwiches, and hotdogs. But we ate like queens! He used HIS provisions for US!
(HINT: If your captain buys provisions and cooks their provisions for you, take them out to dinner with you when you eat on an island! Heck, even if they don’t. They are working 24/7, and it’s the right thing to do.)

Now for some constructive criticism, MOORINGS: Once I booked and paid, I didn’t hear another thing from the Moorings. I thought I’d get a couple of check-ins, maybe a heads up from the local base who our captain might be, what to expect when we got there, etc. Your website has a lot of information, yes. Is it easy to find? It could be easier, honestly.
I spent about $200 to have provisions ON the boat already, and we grocery shopped for about $200 more.
I had NO idea that captains often shop as well, using THEIR provision money, and will cook for the guests.
Had I been able to talk to our captain ahead of time, I could’ve bought what we all wanted, what Radge needed to cook meals, and could have save a TON of money and not wasted food or money.
MOORINGS, maybe rethink your pre-sail communications. Many of us have no idea what we are getting into, and TOO MUCH information is not a bad thing. For instance, a list of nearby grocery stores, captain bios on the website, taxi info, etc.
Yes, I now know I could’ve called the Moorings base in Placencia, but I didn’t know that ahead of time.

All in all, we had a perfect 5 days on the water.

Spent an amazing week on a catamaran and have only good things to say. Water is crystal clear and temperature was perfect.
Big thanks to our awesome captain Dino who happened to be a historian too and gave us a historian tour of each marina and island we visited.
Would definitely recommend and want to come back too!!

We just completed a perfect 7 days on a moorings 45’ Cat skippered by Dino. I cannot say enough about the trip. The boat was in perfect condition and everything worked. The route planning was excellent showing us wonderful diversity with cruise segments of just the right length. Overnight stops were great and restaurant recommendations were Amazing. Could not recommend any stronger than I do. Wonderful trip.

We had an incredible vacation with Captain Cosy and Chef Jan!! This was my first sailing experience, and is now my favorite kind of vacation! Cosy and Jan created a wonderful relaxing atmosphere where everything was taken care of. We had a perfect combination of relaxing and activity. Cosy provided great advice on where to go and what to do, and Jan made the most amazing food – no need to eat at any island restaurant! You won’t find better!! They took all our preferences in for food and drink, and the entire experience was amazing!! I can’t wait to do a sail vacation again, preferably with Cosy and Jan!

OMG everything was perfect and amazing. Dino was our skipper. I can’t imagine how different our trip would have been (not as good) without him. He kept us safe, took us to the best spots, indulged our every wish, was interesting (history and culture) and helpful, and all around we feel like we got so lucky with him. Our boat (Bagheera) was in great shape and worked well. The sea and islands and town were soothing and beautiful. 100 stars!

We had the most wonderful time. Andel and Josena were the most wonderful hosts! the boat was super clean and the food outstanding!!!! The vacation was a dream come true!! Thank you!

We loved our trip and Our Chef Lauren was amazing! She and our Captain, Levi, are the best! To please our party of 9 was not an easy task but they did it with ease!

Let’s start with the Mooring Hotel in Tortola where we stayed for 1 night prior to boarding our catamaran. It was outstanding, bar, food, pool, a little ship, liquor store.
The Catamaran was fantastic. 6 suites (one for the Capitan and Cook. Spacious and everything worked.
The food… wow !! No reason to go to restaurants around. You will not eat better food.
All the requested drinks were on board.
I do scuba and snorkel, and brought my mask. Their equipment on board was great. If I knew, I wouldn’t have brought it.
The Capitan was very accommodating and knowledgeable.
We were able to Bluetooth into the ship’s stereo. We played and dance throughout the trip.
I had questions and concerns about cell phone reception in this trip. We all left behind kids and our practices, reason for the concern. I ended buying the Garmin inReach. I’m glad to inform that there was signal EVERYWHERE we went. I never touched the Garmin.
I strongly recommend this trip.
