Yacht was in good condition. Great base crew and very friendly.

The captain, Sam Crone, made the trip in a possible way. He was patient, friendly, helpful, positive, fun, and very very skilled. We had no idea the selection of a captain was so incredibly important to the success of this vacation, and we are very grateful that our captain was Sam Crone.

Great boat, great staff, beautiful sailing and we will be back.

The Moorings are very well organized, and everything from showing up, to getting on board, to the 8 day sail, was perfectly organized and executed so we had zero stress and maximum fun. Our Luca and Georgia were fantastic, professional, expert, fun, great communicators, tailored the trip perfectly to our wishes and took care of us tirelessly 7/24. They worked their butts off! Wow! Even though a storm, inclement rough weather, we trusted their skills 100%. The Squeegee Love is very comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Luca and Georgia must be you vey finest crew because we cannot imagine better. And the food, OMG it could not get better. We had a great time, and those guys worked to ensure that happened.

There were a couple of hiccups but the Moorings staff bent over backwards to make everything right. Britiney the site manager was exemplary in both customer service and team leadership skills.

What a week! We had the pleasure of sailing with Andy and Linzi through the British Virgin Islands on their boat “Seas the Day”. Starting with the food, Linzi is an amazing chef! We had different dishes every night, always with dessert and always delicious. Meals were varied – steak, seafood, salads, curry, etc. She also provided Linzi’s “nibbles” on the top deck around 5:30 which we looked forward to daily! Andy kept us on course, highlighting the previous day and planning for the next one. Aside from being a very handsome lad (consensus on the boat), he clearly knows what he’s doing! He took us through all the great spots, adding his opinion but never pushing. In short, it was one of the best vacations I have ever been on! Thank you Mom (Linzi) and dad (Andy)!

Our first time in the BVI was a beautiful experience with Kendrick, Shyan and Vicky! A week cruising all the best places was a wonderful with this crew! The food was awesome (Vicky is an excellent chef), Shy took care of us like a champ and that can be challenging with our gang lol. We had lots of laughs and got to know the crew and feel they have become part of our family. We got lots of hugs and said we would stay in touch and will be back to see them for sure! Thank you Kendrick, Shy and Vicky for all that you did, making us feel right at home on your boat and so glad we had you as our crew for the week we were with you! See you again ( hopefully soon) stay safe and keep in touch, we love you guys! 🥰

My husband and I chartered a catamaran- Andromeda with 4 other couples and crew. We started in Tortola, Cooper Island, Virgin Gorda, Anegada, Marina Cay, Jost Van Dyke and Norman Island. We made many familiar stops like The Baths, Tipsy, Cow Wreck, Diamond Cay, Sandy spit, Soggy Dollar, Foxy’s and of course Willie T’s! We had the best lobster ever at the Wonky Dog!
This was our first trip to the BVI’S but not the last. We travel all over the Caribbean but nothing compares to the BVI’S!
Our crew was exceptional Kendrick, Vicky and Shiann! They showed us all the good spots and we enjoyed their company as well! Vicki was the best chef ever!
If you’re looking for a good time be sure to check this catamaran and crew out!

We have been sailing with the Moorings for over 30 years. They have always provided top-notch customer service and excellent sailboats. In the rare few times there has been an issue (as happens with sailboats), they have been very responsive. We will continue to use them in the future.

Good organisation, clean marina, nice cruising area. BUT how to get there and get back is quite difficult esp. with intercarribean airlines

Had a fabulous week aboard the Knotty Toddy with Capt Richard and Chef Shelly. BVI’s are beautiful and the crew made sure we had everything we wanted and needed. Itinerary was well managed based on weather and our preferences. Meals were fantastic and the most picky eater in our family gave the food a 10/10. A truly memorable family week!

Sailing the BVI’s – what a trip!

We just got back from an unforgettable sailing trip around the BVI’s. This was a week-long couple’s trip and the eight of us were completely blown away. Blown away by the beauty of the islands, the amazing sites, the smooth sailing but above all our incredible crew – Captain Andy and Chef (extraordinaire) Linzi.

This dynamic duo was undoubtedly the reason we enjoyed ourselves so much. A wonderful couple who made us feel so welcomed from the moment we set foot on their boat. Their attention to detail, easy-going and relaxed manner and just their all-around friendly nature only added to the beauty which surrounded us. We’ll miss Captain Andy’s nautical tips/insights and of course Chef Linzi’s gourmet meals (not to mention her famous pre-dinner nibbles).

Being our first time, we really did not know what to expect and went in with open minds. We explored some popular sites, snorkeled amazing locations, sat on secluded beaches and some days we just stayed onboarded and chilled.

We booked through the Moorings, which we’d highly recommend. They made everything easy from start to finish and were always super-responsive.

Thanks to the Moorings, and more so thanks to Captain Andy and Chef Linzi for allowing these eight friends to make such amazing memories.

This review must start with Captain Andy & his amazing wife, Chef Linzi who were not only unbelievable welcoming, fun, and interesting to be around, but also incredibly organized and flexible over the course of the week we spent with them.

Our party of eight sailed the BVI’s for the first time and the two of them made it one of the most memorable trips we’ve ever taken. From the customized itinerary to the onboard fine dining (breakfast, lunch & dinner); each day was filled with something new to see, explore, and of course eat.

I’ll add that The Moorings, as an outfit for chartering these amazing vessels was also equally great to work with and made organizing our special trip very easy.

As a group, we all agreed that we’d sail again with Captain Andy & Chef Linzi in a heartbeat and would highly recommend them if you are considering a charter with crew. We’d like to personally thank them again for an amazing experience.

Shelly and Richard made every moment of our trip magical! Our boat was spotless, the food incredible, and their company was so lovely.

As the year comes to an end we reflect on our most wonderful celebration trip with Moorings in November. We spent a week sailing around the BVIs on a luxurious catamaran superbly crewed by Sophie and Robin. Nothing but high praise and thanks from us for their friendly but professional care. Delicious inventive meals were provided by Sophie. She also magically kept our berths spotless when we weren’t looking. Robin steered us around the various islands and bays making the most of the amazing swimming and snorkelling in the area. We felt totally relaxed, helped from time to time by the fabulous cocktails that Robin conjured up. We’d done a similar trip for our 50ths – the 20 year gap was worth waiting for and we would highly recommend.

Trip on the water was great. The weather tried to hinder us, but we prevailed.wasn’t hard with this great boat. He been on a rainy day the inside was a great place to Stowe out.

Thanks for the fantastic charter on Seas the Day with crew Andy & Linzi. Lifelong memories of seas, sun, snorkeling and even a little nautical learning. Appreciate the thought put into our itinerary and the menu throughout the trip. Looking forward to future trips!

There were three couples that we vacation with often on this charter. We were blessed with having Richard and Shelly as our crew. We all have been on many different trips but this was very special because of Richard and Shelly. We all enjoyed that they would interact with us and we all enjoyed our conversations. I know that we all would charter with them again. The only downside was I gained 7 pounds from the fantastic meals we were served. Planning our next charter. Thank you Richard and Shelly.

We had a fabulous trip in no small part due to our captain, Anis, and our fantastic chef, Teri. Anis was appropriately safety cautious while also encouraging fun and adventure. He planned our stops well and handled the boat masterfully. Teri is so sweet and accommodating- we all wanted to bring her home with us. Her meals were delicious- we have all tried to replicate them upon returning home. It was a great trip.

Lovely crew (Richard and Shelly), fantastic food and drinks, They were super knowledgeable with great recs for places to go for snorkeling, relaxing, beaching/bars, exploring, and hiking. Our early 20s kids say it’s their best trip ever and want to go again which is the highest praise! Such thoughtful special touches went into our table settings, a birthday celebration, and food which was amazing! HIGHLY recommend the Moorings and specifically Richard and Shelly to anyone wanting a pampered, customized vacation!! Thank you!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our trip was amazing!Anis and Tery were the very best we could’ve asked for! They cooked amazing food, took us everywhere we wanted to go and kept us safe the whole time. We had such a great time with them! We look forward when we can travel with them again we highly recommend them for any plans. You have to travel in the future.

Nicest charter base I’ve ever been to. Lovely facilities while waiting to board and upon return of boat. Pool, showers, bar, restaurant, shops, etc. Most importantly, the boat was in great condidtion and the staff was very friendly – providing much assistance with loading and unloading luggage and thorough check-out process.

There were only three of us on a 46′ Power Cat, so we had crazy amount of space and room, but we could have had 3-5 more people on the trip and probably felt the same way. The boat was super clean and full of toys to really enjoy the trip above and below the water. The boat’s autopilot was easy to use and off autopilot, it was easy to maneuver (with the help of experienced deck hands!). We enjoyed cooking and eating in various spots around the boat and the lounging areas were well-designed to soak in the sights. Launching and retrieving the dinghy was a synch. We never worried that the dinghy wouldn’t start or anything.

The trip was amazing. Our crew Shelly and Richard made the trip. Shelly made every meal a delight. We sometimes couldn’t choose our favorite because they were all so good. Richard gave us the best sailing experience ever!.

Moorings have a big base in Road Town with some great facilities. Check in and check out very efficient and when we had an issue that needed attention the service was pretty prompt and resolved the issue efficiently. The BVI is a lovely area to sail in.
