Excellent staff responsiveness, great organization and strong reputation as well as having chartered with you before.

From the planning of this trip all the way to the last minute on our boat, Andromeda, our expectations were exceeded. The Moorings Base was able to answer all of my many questions every time I called. They calmed me down regarding everything Covid! Our captain and chef, James and Isabella, were top notch. They were one step ahead of us every second of our trip. Their service was next level. The boat was gorgeous and a dream to be on. The Moorings is a first rate company to charter with.

We have chartered with the Moorings 4 other times and have sailed, this experience was the first we had with a catamaran and it was awesome. Our captain, Matt Bamford, was highly customer focused. He went above and beyond with his service. He made us breakfast and coffee every morning, was always tidying up the boast and kept it clean, made our beds, made us drinks and handled all the issues that we had. We were able to really enjoy our family vacation! We had 3 boats “Event Horizon” for our 6 grown children and captain Kellon, and we, the parents, had 2 boats as we had to switch out our boat “Happiest Hours” to “Dream Cat II”, due to many boat issues. Our captain, Matt, called the base right away and reported the many issues, which have all been documented. Oliver and Matt coordinated the new boat which was an upgrade to a 50 which was much nicer, unfortunately we lost about 1 day in total. The upgraded boat was a great surprise and soooooo much roomier and had more amenities.

Staff was incredible every step of the way, particularly Lene Volney who really went above and beyond to give us the best experience we could have asked for. Boat performed well, and the chart briefing information was perfect. I’d recommend the moorings very highly to anyone interested.

One of the best vacation weeks we’ve had as a family. Our crew (Theo and Martina) were amazing. They became extensions of the family immediately. The sailing was great and the food was even better.

The Moorings sales team was very accommodating and kind during all the tumult of Covid -based rescheduling requirements. The on-site customer service was responsive and helpful before and after our trip. The boat was in excellent condition and we had no technical problems.

Good quality boats at a fair price

We’ve been through The Moorings in Road Town many times, and it has always been great. But during this most recent visit in 2022 we couldn’t help notice how clean the docks were, how attentive the staff was, and how convenient they made every aspect of our trip. It was excellent!
