The service was great start to finish

Essentially the customer service keeps the Moorings in the top percentage of its business performance

We had an amazing time on Nauti but Nice with Captain Rachel and Chef Rebeka for our recent spring break trip. The weather was fantastic and our crew was top notch, going above and beyond to ensure all 6 of us had everything and anything we’d ever want and all had great time.

Our crew, Calvin and Katie, were awesome. The catamaran was just right for our group. It was very clean and organized. The stops were amazing. Everything about the experience from booking, to communication, to the actual trip was fantastic.

Every single staff member had a smile, was friendly, and eager to assist.

This was our third charter with Moorings and they always are amazing and so enjoyable

Andel and Joseanne were the best hosts and made our trip unforgettable. Everything about our Moorings Charter was fantastic!

What a spectacular week with our four young adult children! Capt Andy making sure we maximized our adventures and Chef Linzi preparing over the top impressive meals. Every day we enjoyed Linzi’s “nibbles” with drinks to watch the sunset. We will be back!

Absolute trip of a lifetime! Perfect combination of adventure and relaxation plus the best food for every single meal! We chartered Captain Andy and Chef Lenzi who made sure every aspect of the trip was amazing. This is our 2nd trip with them and I couldn’t recommend them more.

The overall the sailing experience in the BVI was incredible. However, The Mooring fell short of my expectations. Upon arrival to Tortola, we stayed in The Moorings lodging after a 12-hour travel day. I was looking forward to a hot shower, but there was no hot water in our room. The Mooring Staff was not friendly, and it was very uninviting. It was as if they were entitled.

The Moorings messed up on our provisions and we lost 2 hours of sailing time obtaining the correct provisions had we originally ordered. The oven on the sailing vessel did not work and the barbeque was very marginal. And one of the coolers for ice leaked. When we follow-up up on our concerns, the Customer Service was not at all helpful or willing to make things right.

We did love our Captain! JP was great…he was responsible, fun and very accommodating. He knew what he was doing, and he made us feel very safe.

I am looking forward to my next sailing trip in the BVI, but it will not be through The Moorings.

Had a wonderful time in the BVI’s! Our Captain Jack went above and beyond all week! The places he suggested to visit were breathtaking. We will definitely be requesting Captain Jack on our next BVI trip!

My friends and I recently chartered Seas the Day, a 50’ Catamaran crewed by Captain Andy and Chef Linzi. This was a birthday present to myself that will be remembered as the best trip I’ve ever had! Captain Andy and Chef Linzi orchestrated every little detail in a way that felt both leisurely and packed with fun activities. The bonus “chart talk” with Captain Andy is well worth the daily listen — I gained a new appreciation for how exacting and complicated nautical navigation really is. Captain Andy is a pro and, as a person only mildly comfortable in the water, I felt super safe with Captain Andy at all times. Then there is Chef Linzi whose culinary skills and artful presentation were on display four times a day for our pleasure. We ate on land only once because we did not want to miss a single delicious meal made by Chef Linzi. Their respective skills are only matched by the fact that they are lovely individuals whose goal truly is to deliver the best and most memorable vacation possible for their guests. I would/will do this trip again without reservation — but only if Andy and Linzi are the crew.

We had a great time on our 5 day sailing adventure. The food was both delicious and presented beautifully. We really felt pampered. We enjoyed going to Cooper Island, Virgin Gorda, Saba Rock Norman Island, Jost van dyke and many snorkeling spots. I was the only SCUBA diver on the trip and Andy made it extremely easy to enjoy a morning of Scuba diving. We loved their humor and easy going attitude. Especially enjoyed Capt Andy s chart talks. They packed so much into the 5 days that we felt that it was longer. Have them take you to Sandy Cay. Fun times

The whole process was top notch. We were extremely impressed with Captain Shem Samuels.. he was very respectful of our space. He was instrumental in helping us structure our itinerary everyday as well as assist in making dinner reservations as needed. Planning on coming back next year!!

The Moorings trip in the BVI’s leaving Tortola was a special vacation experience. The customer service provided by The Moorings prior to the trip was spot on and helped us plan and provision our week. Being able to sleep aboard the catamaran the night before departure was nice and allowed the group to be prepared, understand the boat and be ready to start our journey early the next morning.
We had a captain (Marlon) provided by Moorings who exceeded our expectations. Marlon was clearly knowledgeable of the boat, sailing and the Carribean. Marlon seemed to know people at every stop and was able to help us pick everything from the best restaurants and bars to secluded beaches.
This trip was fantastic all around and I would suggest The Moorings to anyone looking for a unique experience.

Best Family Trip!! Our family of 8 absolutely loved the week spent aboard Seas the Day with Capt Andy and Linzi! From the moment we boarded everything was excellent!! Everyday Capt Andy sailed us to a different island to beautiful beach’s and bars! They knew all of the best snorkeling spots that we stopped at along the way!! Every meal Linzi made and served us was amazing and the presentation was always beautiful! Each night for happy hour Linzi made nibbles and a signature drink of the night as we watched the sunsets and talked about what we would do the next day!! We all agreed this was our favorite trip and can’t wait to set sail again!!

This trip was so much fun. Andy and Linzi were the most kind, joyful, and knowledgeable people. They made the experience feel perfect. For going to beautiful beaches and location day to day to the amazing food all week. This trip on Seas The Day was one I will never forget.

After taking a week-long catamaran trip with Captain Andy and Lindzi, I can say it was nothing short of incredible! They were so knowledgeable and extremely friendly. On the moorings “Seas the day”, We got to see secluded beaches, eat amazing food, and sail the most beautiful waters! I have zero complaints! They made everything so seamless and easy, truly feeling like a vacation. I would highly recommend to any family or group of friends. Hoping I can return one day!

Such an amazing trip! We had Captain Andy and Linzi, and they were absolutely incredible, making the trip perfect! Very welcoming and great hospitality. They took us to all the good spots that they knew and made sure we got the best out of everything. We had 8 of us and were very comfortable on the boat. The food was amazing, courtesy of Mrs. Linzi. Don’t overpack, you won’t need it!

This trip was a life time experience, and bucket list trip. We traveled with Captain Andy and Chef Linzi and they were absolutely amazing. Andy took us to the best sports, and taught us about sailing along the way. Linzi made some of the best food I have ever had. All along they were great company to be with. When I do this trip again I will be sure to do it with them.

We ladies (mothers/daughters) and friends had a wonderful experience on our seven-day cruise thru the BVIs. It more than met our expectations! Captain Giacomo was super-friendly, easy to get along with and had great suggestions for places to visit and explore and for restaurants. He was very attentive to our requests, was very professional, and we all enjoyed his
company and the whole trip overall. We would definitely recommend this excursion to all – thank you to The Moorings!

We have been sailing the BVI with Mooring Charters for 20 years! This trip was just another amazing experience. The BVI is a perfect place to see beautiful water and welcoming islands. We chartered a Moorings 5000 sail cat that was perfect for our needs. Thank you Moorings for always providing exceptional service!

We had a blast sailing from island to island. This part of the world really is a special place that we are blessed to have gotten to experience. The sailing, snorkeling, the food, the Baths, the caves, 3 Indians, the Bitter End, The soggy Dollar, the Pain killers, the exploring on the islands, (A special thanks to captain Lee for making reservations for dinners, moorings and handling all the logistics so would could relax and not worry about anything). The sail boat is the way to go!! We did have minor issues with our boat and the grill not working and issue with the Captians quarter A/C not working, but those were minor and feel bad for the Captain but the beauty of the islands and amazing weather made those non issue that I’m sure moorings will have resolved for the next people on the Shape up II..

We just returned from a weeklong Moorings catamaran charter through the BVIs and it was nothing short of spectacular—easily one of the top 5 trips of my life.

First and foremost, Captain Lee was the heart and soul of this journey. Her knowledge of the islands, calm leadership, and easy-going personality made every day effortless and unforgettable. She was incredibly accommodating, knew exactly when to take charge and when to let us relax, and handled every detail—from navigation to logistics—with total confidence. Her dinner and mooring reservations were impeccable every single night. We felt like VIPs everywhere we went.

Now for the honesty: there were a couple of hiccups. Unfortunately, our catamaran, Shape Up II, didn’t have a grill onboard (which we expected), and we had some frustrating issues with the AC. But to be fair, the weather was so perfect—plus the beauty of the islands more than made up for the minor annoyances.

The snorkeling was next level—crystal-clear water, vibrant reefs, and sea life galore. We swam with turtles, rays, and more fish than I can count. Evenings were spent under breathtaking starry skies, cocktails and beers in hand, just soaking in the moment.

We’re already talking about when we can do it again. Moorings delivered an incredible experience, but Captain Lee is what made it magical. Highly recommend—and if you can request her as your skipper, do it. You won’t regret it.
