With over 20,000 nautical miles under his belt, Captain Rick brings a wealth of experience navigating some of the world’s most challenging waters, from the North Sea and Atlantic crossings to the English Channel, Bay of Biscay, Mediterranean, Pacific, and Indian Ocean. Holding an Unlimited international license, Rick’s expertise spans everything from long-distance passages to confidently exploring diverse cruising grounds.
A lifelong adventurer, Rick’s love for the ocean began with surfing at just 10 years old and has since grown into a passion for exploration, including hang-gliding, fishing, and water sports. Beyond his sailing skills, Rick is known for his ability to connect with people, encourage confidence, and help guests step outside their comfort zones — creating unforgettable moments and lasting memories along the way.
Rick and Anita have been sailing together for five years, combining their shared passion for the sea, adventure, wellness, and meaningful connections with others. Anita’s calm, organised approach perfectly complements Rick’s adventurous spirit, creating a relaxed and seamless onboard experience where guests feel both inspired and cared for.
Together, they love sharing their knowledge, teaching new skills, and introducing guests to the joy of life on the water. Their aim is to create a journey that balances adventure and relaxation, while inspiring everyone onboard to embrace curiosity, discovery, and the freedom of sailing.
