Boats in good condition, nice facilities, easy check-in/out process, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Catamaran was in good shape and well set up. Seemed like the best of the charter boats.

Great people working at Moorings! We arrived late (9:30) due to flight delays and we were all starving. All restaurants were closed but Tyrone (Charlie’s chef) helped us get food and a couple beers. Way above and beyond our expectations!! Tyrone is an excellent example of the customer service The Moorings strives for.

We sailed the BVIs as a family and could not recommend enough. The scenery was stunning and The Moorings provided first class service. Our captain Andy was amazing, taught us fun tips about sailing, and ensured safety was top of mind. Linzi was the most phenomenal chef. Our breakfast, lunch and dinner were unbeatable (see pictures for proof). We loved our crew and would definitely use this company again!

This was an epic Crewed family trip to Tortola with the best Captain & Chef in the BVI. As our Dynamic Duo, Andy and Linzi guided us to the best islands and served us the elegant meals. Their knowledge and sailing experience provided us safe passage throughout the week while entertaining us along the way. We will be back.

We just returned from a 10 day sailing vacation with The Moorings, our 23rd charter with them. We keep coming back to The Moorings because they always provide 1st class service and the charter fleet is always in top condition. You might be able to find it cheaper, but you will not find a more quality experience. Service and preparedness. We have already booked our next charter.

Our trip to the BVI was truly epic. We had a wonderful time sailing and enjoying the 50’ft catamaran. Our crew, Danny and Sandrine made every moment special. Meals were fabulous and Danny was a great captain.

Our catamaran had a generator issue, and Danny and Sandrine were absolute professionals working to fix the issue and not impact our vacation. Highest praise to our crew! Thank you!!

Picture 7 days of relaxation. Picture starting every day with coffee hand delivered by your amazing chef, jumping off your beautiful yacht and swimming in the Caribbean sea. Then a delicious breakfast staring out at the water. Seeing turtles and spotted eagle Rays jumping. Then image a skilled, competent, interesting and friendly captain sailing you to one wonderful island after another. The amazing chef delivers lunch and artfully crafted dinner. Lastly you fall asleep floating in a gorgeous bay. If you can picture this, you have just pictured our trip with the amazing captain/chef duo of Anis and Tery.

Quite the amazing 7-day vacation in BVI with the Moorings! This was our first charter with a catamaran powercat and Moorings captain to navigate our boat. Our captain “Shem” was terrific – knew all the best spots to visit from the secret bubbly pool at Jost Van Dyke, to yoga on Saba Island, and the best place for fresh lobster. We had 4 separate cabins for sleeping and 4 separate bathrooms (great so our family could stay a little independent). We purchased food to cook on the boat and balanced that with visits to restaurants on the islands. Our family snorkled, hiked, road electric scooters and had an incredible time. Already saving for our next family trip with the Moorings!

We booked a 10 day charter through the Moorings and had an absolutely wonderful time. What really made the trip was our crew, Francesco and Nika. I can’t imagine a better team. Francesco took us to all the best spots and was so skilled and experienced as the captain. He was always aware of changing weather and sea states to make sure we enjoyed our water activities. He also always picked the best overnight spots that were very peaceful. Nika was an absolutely amazing chef. Everything she made was so delicious. Her presentation and variety of the dishes were first class!! They always kept the boat so tidy and organized making sure we never lost any of our stuff that we always left around the boat. There was never anything that we needed that they weren’t already way ahead of us. They made the entire trip special and quickly became close friends with all of us. If you book a trip with the Moorings I can’t give a high enough recommendation to request Francesco and Nika, you will not be disappointed!!

what a great trip! moorings runs a top class experience. boat was clean and way more spacious than i expected. our skipper, rico, was top notch. ran the boat like a boss and kept us appraised of all situations and kept the trip humming on time. his interpersonal skill was exceptional and appreciated by all on board- he became part of the team! Thanks again for making our sail exceptional rico!!

Our group of 7 spent 9 days in on the Sea of Abaco. The new base at the Abaco Beach Resort is first class.

We took the option to sleep aboard the evening before our planned charter date.

The Moorings 45L sailing cat was in good shape. She performed well even though it was very windy (22 knots + ) for the entire week.

My only concern is the electronics. The Raymarine digital displays were “off “ by 20 degrees. I strongly recommend that all charterers bring a hand held GPS to confirm that the course that you steer is accurate. My Garmin GPS did a great job in keeping us on course.

The restaurant and bar at the Abaco Beach Resort remains a four star facility in terms of staffing, service, and quality of the meals.

I can not wait to book my next charter with the Moorings.

As usual our annual trip (sometimes two per year) was wonderful through Moorings. The islands have been beautifully restored / rebuilt after the the hurricanes. We feel like this is our second home. Love making the rounds to all the usual spots and bonus this year was meeting DRAKE with RumRunners at Bitter End and Saba Rock. This is our 20th year with Moorings. Thanks for all of the Moorings Team members who take care of us!

Trip was awesome. We stayed in a marina two nights which was so nice stay out of the waves. Our captain, Khadin is the best. He is a local and knew all the best spots to eat and see. He tailored the trip to do things that we wanted to do. We liked snorkeling, cooking, and fishing. He took us to the best snorkel spots, took me fishing, and tracked down a fisherman so i could buy 2 lobster and 1 fish after we failed to catch fish. Being on the boat with him and planning the itenerary wasreally easy. We’ve dodged all the weather and he’s adapted our trip so we could go to Catholic mass in virgin Gorda Friday and sunday. St. Ursula church in virgin Gorda had plenty of mass times and very nice parishioners and priest who gave us a tour of the new church being built. Boat had some issues but the moorings was accommodating in fixing these issues. Highly recommend the moorings

After originally getting canceled 12 days before trip by another charter company, just returned from our crewed charter trip, aboard the beautiful Funky Miracle through Moorings, around the BVI and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped aboard, we were met with warm hospitality from our skilled and fun captain Kenrick and an exceptional chef, Sebastien. Kenrick’s deep knowledge of the islands, calm expertise and embodiment of pure joy made every sail smooth, scenic, and full of hidden gems—from secluded bays to breathtaking snorkeling spots.

Equally impressive was our French chef, Sebastien, whose culinary prowess turned each meal into a 5 star feast that combined fresh local ingredients with gourmet flair. Waking up to a sun-kissed breakfast and winding down with a sunset dinner on deck made the entire trip feel luxurious yet relaxed.

The vessel itself was spacious, pristine, and outfitted with all the comforts you could want while exploring the crystal-clear waters of the BVI. This journey was the perfect mix of fun, adventure and indulgence. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an extraordinary getaway!

Jos and Chevone were amazing!! This was our first time staying on a catamaran as a family with an 11 and 8 year old. If you on the fence about taking this trip DO IT. From the time we stepped on the dock to the time we left Jos and Chevone were attentive to our every need. They were great with the kids and had a Halloween scavenger hunt for them on the boat. The food was top notch! They were very flexible in adjusting the itinerary based on what we wanted to do as a family. One of our top vacations yet and we look forward to doing again very soon!

Our trip was perfect! Capt Anis and Chef Terry provided the perfect experience! They made all arrangements for off boat tours and gave us Five Star treatment on board. We will do another trip. Boat was well maintained and very clean. Also stayed at the Moorings resort before sailing. Rooms are a 3 star but restaurant, spa and bar areas were 4 or better!

We originally rented a cat and were planning on sailing it ourselves but we had an unfortunate event happen where our captain had to go back home mid trip and Khadin jumped in at the last minute and captained our ship so we could continue on with our vacation. He brought us to a lot of new places and was so great!

The water was beautiful. The locals were very friendly. We enjoyed every minute of our trip. We would definitely return.

The Moorings in Split/Agana was amazing. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time. Would rent with them again!

We just returned from Greece Moorings powercat vacation. We had 3 couples and a captain on board. Special and comfortable. From the moment we arrived the staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our vessel was clean and ready for departure. Having a captain (George) navigate our journey made exploring islands fun and adventurous. His skills and knowledge of the waters made us feel relaxed and safe. The islands we saw were breathtaking. Hopping on a Moorings boat is the best way to see multiple islands and experience Greece intimately. I would highly recommend this company. This is my second experience using the Moorings. The first time was in the BVIs and there boats and services are consistent. First rate company and travel experience.

We had no idea that the Split are was so popular for sailing. Now we know why.
On Fridays and Saturdays the crew will be sending out 50-80 boats. Yuri and Mirna did our boat a solid. Great to work with and gave personal service despite being being worked hard by countless other boats.

An absolutely wonderful sailing experience exploring the Northern Dalmatian Islands and the communities along the way. The briefing was great beforehand and was grateful for some extra time as we were heading north and it was as common an itinerary. Boat was well appointed and the water maker allowed us to be on the hook the entire time. If I had one request, that would be for more time to be instructed on the boat systems etc. it’s a lot to cover and remember, but we had several days to learn about her. Well supported by the Moorings team and that includes a lovely welcome back to Port.
