Great customer service, awesome boats and wonderful experience!

Everything about the charter was well done. The boat was well cared for, and actually exceeded our expectations. The staff at the marina was helpful.

Friendly staff from initial calls to emails to arrival, quality boats excellent islands for those of us that only sail every few years

We were over joyed with our Captain and chef! Both were so professional, attentive, respectful, friendly and very polite! We had a marvelous vacation thanks to our crew! Customer service was excellent as well.

Everything is well handled and easily managed. Staff is great, boat was great. Captain Robert was exceptional.

We had the family holiday of a lifetime! Everything was perfect and then some! Our boat was beautiful and our captain Pete and first mate/chef Allie were absolutely fabulous!

Our recent catamaran charter trip through the stunning British Virgin Islands was nothing short of a dream come true!

We loved having Kendrick captain our trip. From the moment we set sail, Kendrick’s warm welcome and infectious enthusiasm set the tone for an unforgettable journey. His deep knowledge of the BVIs and their hidden gems transformed our voyage into an extraordinary adventure. Kendrick’s expertise on the water was truly impressive. We always felt safe and comfortable, even when navigating the trickier passages. His skillful handling of the catamaran made our experience smooth and relaxing, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty around us.

We will be booking another trip through the Moorings. Truly a magical trip!

From start to finish everything was first class. Someone was always available when we had questions. The boat was fantastic. I will certainly charter again from The Moorings.

We loved the trip. The boat was perfect for us. Rachel and Rebeka were fantastic. We can’t imagine another crew. They made us feel like family. Rachel is obviously prepared for anything, and Rebekas meals were off the charts!

Great overall service. The catamaran we chartered was in great shape and very clean.

The information provided before the charter to help me prepare was extensive and very useful, the booking agents were extremely helpful, customer service at Tortolla was amazing, the facilities were very nice, the check in and check out personnel were very helpful and answered all questions.

Our trip to the BVI was wonderful. Moorings was super easy to work with. Incredibly helpful. The boat was well maintained and when we had an issue, they’re very responsive to help us fix it. We went during end of August, which was great most places were shut down and not too many tourists so we really were able to explore a lot of the islands. I would highly recommend chartering with Moorings.

Romano and Silvia were the best crew , they became our new friends. They created the perfect environment in the boat and we learned a lot of the BVI

Catamaran was clean, very good condition, we had groceries delivered directly to the boat which was great. Very modern, comfortable.
The welcome crew were great, explained all without any rush.

Gathering memories with Romano and Silvia, along with our family, was an exciting and pleasurable experience. We are grateful to have visited beautiful places and while dining on Silvia’s delicious food. Thanks for the memories!

The most BEAUTIFUL water and sights! Our family of 5 took a sailing trip to the BVI’s and it was pretty epic. My husband was our captain and did a great job. Myself and our three young adult daughters were the crew–we weren’t the best but we managed! My husband was in his glory the entire 6 days. The girls and I wore down with the sailing, the boat, the water, etc. by the end but we still had a great time. The boat was amazing and well equipped. Like glamping on the water. We loved visiting the different islands for coffee, dinner, shopping, the beach, etc. and used the dinghy to do so. Snorkeling was fantastic especially at Norman Island and the Dogs. Loved our dip in the Bubbly pool at Jost Van Dyke and the Baths are not to be missed on Virgin Gorda! If I had to do it again, I think a combo trip of land and sea would be best, but we still had a fabulous time. A trip of a lifetime really!

We did a crewed charter in the BVIs on a power catamaran with captain Lucy Rees and chef Mark Gilby. Every detail on the trip was nothing short of amazing. The BVIs are simply gorgeous, every stop was perfect, great snorkeling, swimming, good beach bars and restaurants at various stops. The boat was in excellent condition, lots of comfortable relaxing space and living on the boat for 5 days was fantastic! Lastly, we had the best crew ever! Lucy was very relaxed and accommodating, always wanting to personalize our experience and cater to our every need while making sure we were safe and the boat was operating without any issues. Mark who calls himself ‘just a sailor who also cooks’ is way underestimating his culinary skills! every meal was amazing! They were fun to travel with and I hope to repeat the whole experience soon!

Silvia and Romano made an excellent team and were super friendly and knowledgeable. They listened to our suggestions and were flexible with our itinerary changes. Although we’ve chartered several times, we were introduced to many new places and excellent snorkeling. Wish we could stay longer! Excellent trip and the crew made all the difference!

One of my best vacations ever!!! The Power Catamaran was in almost perfect conditions. The marina is very clean and beautiful as always. Obviously the islands and the most beautiful waters in the world. But, what set Moorings apart, is the service and the people working there. Hoping to go back next year.

Had an amazing family vacation with our adult children and significant others. This is our second Moorings trip to BVI. Both were spectacular. Our Calvin (captain), Katie (chef) and their boat (Jolly Mon) were exceptional. Highly recommend this trip and The Moorings.

We chose a 53’ power cat, sailing from Tortola, BVI, that was super luxurious. It was sparkling clean, in perfect condition, had great a/c, four very large state rooms, was very quiet even while underway and had a dingy. We decided to hire a captain and I think it’s the only way to go. He knew the best dive spots, where to stop for emergency rum (yes, it’s a thing!), he would take the dingy and keep an out when just one person wanted to dive (safe practice) and made dinner reservations for us at great beachfront restaurants. He was so fun we invited him to dinner most nights. Moorings marina in Tortola is incredible having a large pool, multiple grocery stores, gorgeous bar, lovely restaurant and attentive service throughout the entire operation. We had a service issue on the boat and a repair crew was provided quickly to remedy the problem. We would definitely use Moorings again.

The Moorings bareboat charter was amazing. Our trip through the Windward Islands was relaxing yet full of adventure. We started in St Lucia and ended in Grenada, our 9-day journey on our 46′ power catamaran was filled with snorkeling, hiking, and exploring. I highly recommend a Moorings charter, and they offer captains if you don’t want to do it yourself. They also have a ton of destinations.

We had the most unforgettable birthday trip for our friend in the BVI with Moorings! Our crew, Captain Romano and Chef Silvia, made the week absolutely perfect—Romano made every day seamless, from navigating the beautiful islands to planning the perfect spots for snorkeling, beach days, and sunset views. He made sure our itinerary balanced adventure and relaxation, and we always felt safe and well cared for, and Silvia’s meals were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! Sailing with 4 couples, endless laughs, and stunning views made this a trip of a lifetime!

My family and I have now sailed around the BVI through the Moorings 14 times over the past 30 years. The boats are great and handle well, and the staff is top notch. We plan on returning again in 2027.

Wow! I didn’t know what to expect from our 5 night trip but I couldn’t have imagined the paradise we experienced. Francesco and Nika are a dynamic team and made our trip unforgettable. From the delicious meals prepped on the boat to the nightly mooring locations and the snorkeling excursions – everything was first class. Each day it got better and better! Highly recommend!

Our week spent in BVI with our Captain (Romano) and Chef Silvia was amazing. Romano kept us safe and accommodated our needs and got along so well with our group.
Silvia worked so hard to make special meals for us, all delicious and beautifully presented at each sitting. They took such good care of the boat, as if it was their own home.
The islands were beautiful, the water was crystal clear, and the company was great!
Thank you Romano and Silvia for taking such good care of us and making our vacation so special! We hope to sail with you again!

We had the most amazing week on “Happy Endings” (5800) with Captain Dale & our cook, the angel of the Caribbean, Jan! The boat is beautiful and spacious. Our family of 4 sailed in early July…the weather was perfect and we enjoyed the low crowds. We did encounter some jelly fish and seaweed which kept us from being able to snorkel and/or enjoy some of the beaches, but there were plenty of other amazing spots to enjoy so it all worked out! The boat was so clean and in great condition, Jan made sure of that every day. Jan made us the most delicious meals and was always so thoughtful to ask what we liked and would prefer. She took the best care of us in so many ways and always kept our bathrooms and our rooms so clean. We just can’t say enough and we really hope to sail again with this crew and Moorings!

We had an incredible vacation with Captain Cosy and Chef Jan!! This was my first sailing experience, and is now my favorite kind of vacation! Cosy and Jan created a wonderful relaxing atmosphere where everything was taken care of. We had a perfect combination of relaxing and activity. Cosy provided great advice on where to go and what to do, and Jan made the most amazing food – no need to eat at any island restaurant! You won’t find better!! They took all our preferences in for food and drink, and the entire experience was amazing!! I can’t wait to do a sail vacation again, preferably with Cosy and Jan!

We had the most wonderful time. Andel and Josena were the most wonderful hosts! the boat was super clean and the food outstanding!!!! The vacation was a dream come true!! Thank you!

We loved our trip and Our Chef Lauren was amazing! She and our Captain, Levi, are the best! To please our party of 9 was not an easy task but they did it with ease!

Let’s start with the Mooring Hotel in Tortola where we stayed for 1 night prior to boarding our catamaran. It was outstanding, bar, food, pool, a little ship, liquor store.
The Catamaran was fantastic. 6 suites (one for the Capitan and Cook. Spacious and everything worked.
The food… wow !! No reason to go to restaurants around. You will not eat better food.
All the requested drinks were on board.
I do scuba and snorkel, and brought my mask. Their equipment on board was great. If I knew, I wouldn’t have brought it.
The Capitan was very accommodating and knowledgeable.
We were able to Bluetooth into the ship’s stereo. We played and dance throughout the trip.
I had questions and concerns about cell phone reception in this trip. We all left behind kids and our practices, reason for the concern. I ended buying the Garmin inReach. I’m glad to inform that there was signal EVERYWHERE we went. I never touched the Garmin.
I strongly recommend this trip.
